Post Red River Rivalry Top 10

October 13, 2008

Well, it saddens me this week to do a Top 10 post.  Unfortunately the weekend’s events didn’t favor my team like I had hoped.  Don’t get me wrong.  All hope is NOT lost.  They still have a shot although it is much smaller.  So, with all the mix ups again, how do you agree with the new polls?  Will we have another year of 14 million #1 teams losing again?

Brook, I am deeply saddened by your top ten. Im not sure if it is the fact that you have spent so much in Texas or if you have merely been drinking the Kool-Aid but how could you forget that USC lost to a 3 loss no name Oregon State team. Ok so LSU got pounded by Florida, but come on, it’s Florida. Let’s see, Kansas at least lost to a ranked South Florida Team. Just because USC beat a pathetic Big Ten Sucker in Ohio State and has waltzed through the laughable PAC 10 does not mean they are worthy of top 10 respect. Oh wait USC beat Oregon…nope they suck too. So USC deserves to be ranked no higher than #11 for the rest of the season as they have no one else even worthy of mentioning on their schedule. The rest of your top 10 is fine. Whew, now I feel better. So long as Ohio State doesn’t creep back into your next top 10.
